Monkey Mat was recently honored to help sponsor Girls Night Out: an event to celebrate The Art of Giving for Dell Children’s Medical Center! It was a fabulous evening filled with friends, yummy food (generously provided by St. Philip), and Stubborn Foodie cupcakes (they are to die for)!
The Art of Giving offers a unique opportunity to teach children about philanthropy through their creation of one-of-a-kind works of art. Being able to have families participate means they learn more and see giving back in progress; making it a truly rewarding experience. Children are encouraged to use their hands or brushes to create extremely beautiful pieces of art that will ultimately help those inside the hospital. Each masterpiece created monetarily benefits the Child Life Art and Music Therapies Endowments at Dell Children's Medical Center.
The Art of Giving is a cause that is so near and dear to our hearts. My oldest daughter was born prematurely so the first few months of her life were spent in the hallway (literally the hallway, extension cord and all!) of a hospital. After that experience, I was forever changed and understood the importance of an environment that makes you and your child feel safe.
The Art of Giving is such a great cause and we would sincerely appreciate all the help we can get to improve these children’s lives! To learn more please go to: https://www.supportdellchildrens.org/dell-childrens-trust-art-of-giving
